Classroom visits will be on Thurs., August 24 from 8:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. only. Please call between Aug. 16th-18th to set up your classroom visits. This special visit allows your children to meet their teacher in their classroom. This is part of our gradual entry program. Teachers will meet with your child for 10 minutes to help ease the transition from home to school. Please call your child’s teacher between Aug. 16th-18th to set this up. Your child’s teacher’s phone number is listed on the class assignment sheet. Your teacher will get back to you within 48 hours of you leaving a message. This applies to all of the classrooms.

Work Day for all Preschool families 8:00 a.m. sharp and plan on staying until 10:30! This is the day we’ve set aside for parents to help the teachers set up their rooms. It is a great way for you to meet your child’s teacher and other parents. If you are unable to attend this Work Day, you are welcome to come to the October 21st Outside Work Day. We’ll have plenty for everyone to do! Every Preschool family is required to attend one Work Day per year as stated in the Policies and Procedures. Sorry, no childcare available. CPR class starting at 10:30 a.m. sharp for all staff needing it.

First day of school! K/1, Room 5, and Room 7 begin at 8:45 a.m. All other classes begin at 9:00 a.m. Children who have siblings in K/1, Room 5, or Room 7 may go to their classes after their older siblings have been dropped off. All classes end at 1:00 p.m. No AM Care. No K/1, Extended Care, or Enrichment after 1:00 p.m. from August 28th-August 31st. Tuition will be prorated through August 28th, 29th, 30th & 31st at $40/day. All parents will need to pay for these days as part of the school year.

You will be given valuable information about the Preschool and participating in classes and your children will be talked about (in a good way)!!! Sign-ups for Participation Days will be done in the classrooms after Pam’s presentation. Please come to Orientation Night at 6:30 p.m. if you would like to sign up for AM Care or Extended Care. Outside Work Day – 8:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. Please plan to be here as close to 8:00 a.m. as possible and we will be done by 10:00 a.m. Now that it is cooler, we can spruce up the playgrounds and facility. Please bring gloves, wheelbarrows, shovels, tools, etc. Wear gloves and very old clothes! If any parent would be willing to coordinate this event for a tuition credit, we’d be eternally grateful!!!!

Halloween Parade – 9:15 a.m. Children wear or bring their costumes to school. Parents/relatives are invited to come and watch!! Kodak moments abound!!! Please plan to stay and help change your child out of her/his costume after the class picture. If your child does not attend this day, please feel free to join us for the parade. (No AM Care today.)

Vehicle/Transportation/Community Helpers week- Help us schedule as many different types of vehicles as we can for the children to experience! Please let Pam or the office staff know if you have any leads for vehicles and/or community helpers to come and visit us! We really depend on you for contacts!
